Shredder

Wear parts are essential to a shredder’s proper functioning.  HCMP Foundry could cast a complete line of wear-resistant castings for scrap shredders according to customers ‘drawings.  Depending on service conditions and other important considerations, these castings are provided in one of several special grades of manganese steel. Our manganese steel shredder hammers “self-polish” in the pin holes, which minimizes wear on the pin shafts.
