In mining, quarrying and others, consistent material properties, dimensional accuracy and internal quality are essential for reliable performance and proper installation. At our factory, quality inspection is an important part of our production process.
Chemical Composition
The chemical composition of steel has a direct influence on the performance of crusher wear parts.
Through spectral analysis, we check the chemical composition of materials and verify the content of key elements according to the specified material requirements.
This is particularly important for our high manganese steel and alloy steel crusher parts, helping ensure material consistency.
Metallographic Examination
Metallographic examination is used to evaluate the microstructure of the material.
By examining the metallographic structure, we can assess whether the material has achieved the expected microstructural characteristics. This inspection helps us better control the relationship between material structure, hardness, toughness and wear performance.
Dimensional Test
Dimensional accuracy is essential for crusher parts to fit correctly and operate reliably.
We inspect critical dimensions according to customer drawings, OEM specifications, part numbers or others.
Depending on the product, dimensional inspection may include:
- Overall dimensions
- Thickness
- Mounting dimensions
- Hole positions
- Machined surfaces
- Key contact areas
FARO Edge 3D Measuring Arms
For complex crusher parts and critical dimensions, we use FARO Edge 3D Measuring Arms for precise dimensional measurement.
The equipment allows us to measure and compare the actual geometry of a part against the required dimensions or reference data.
Dye Check Inspection
Dye check inspection is a non-destructive testing method used to identify surface-breaking defects.
The inspection can help detect potential surface cracks and other discontinuities that may not be easily visible during a normal visual inspection.
This provides an additional level of quality control for critical crusher wear parts.
Digital Ultrasonic Flaw Detection
For certain parts, digital ultrasonic flaw detection is used to inspect the internal quality of the casting.
Ultrasonic testing can help identify potential internal discontinuities such as inclusions, voids or other defects that cannot be detected through surface inspection alone.
By combining surface and internal inspection methods, we can obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the quality of the finished part.
These inspection procedures help us maintain consistent quality and provide reliable high manganese steel, alloy steel and customized mining crusher wear parts for demanding applications.
